Welcome to the Adaptive Design of Immersive e-Learning (ADIE) Lab

Adaptive Design of Immersive e-learning (ADIE) Lab is the University of Alabama's very owned research group specialized in immersive learning research and development. The ADIE Lab studies various ways to promote students' learning engagement and knowledge development in digital learning environments. Our lab investigates the research intersection between inclusive learning, immersive learning environments (e.g., digital games, virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality), and learning analytics. We are conducting multiple research projects focusing on how immersive learning environments can be personalized and adapted optimized for underrepresented learners with disabilities.
